Directional Project

Directional has been working with 13 students for the Winter term, delivering one hour per week of classroom activities, followed by an hour of football. During the classroom activities, the students have discussed what success is to them and what they want to achieve in life. They have then learned about life skills such as being respectful, hardworking and having the self-belief to help them succeed. The group have also learned about ‘S.M.A.R.T.’ targets and set themselves targets every week, with those achieving their targets being rewarded. The football side of the project saw the group learn different warm up and drills which they then put together to produce and deliver their own sessions.

The project was concluded with a presentation to parents, family members and teachers where the boys shared everything they had done, including their “My Goals” posters.
