Over the last 6 weeks the boys have taken part in our ‘Choose To Succeed’ project which helps young people identify what they believe success is and how they can achieve it. We have used local role models to inspire the group to improve their behaviours and engagement in school. The group have taken part in a debate, planned and delivered their own sessions and completed a 2-hour Youth Crime Awareness workshop. The group had the opportunity to meet professional footballer Jevani Brown if they met their weekly targets. All boys met their targets and played football with Jevani before hearing his story into football and asking him questions.
