The aim of the Year 8 project was to show how one individual’s contribution, when combined with everyone else’s, can have a very powerful effect. Contemporary art is very often collaborative ie: an artist working with other artists to create a piece of work. Every student in Year 8 drew one eye and they were each stuck to the bottom of a paper cup then we put them all together to create another larger artwork. It shows what positive results you can achieve when you pool your efforts and work together.
