Reminder to students the next college application deadlines are:
Cardinal Newman Sixth Form - Feb 2nd 2018.
Luton Sixth Form College – 31st March 2018
Loreto College application deadline is Friday 1st December 2017
The build up to work experience starts early in Year 10. Students will be given instructions to bring home on how to organise placements.
There are some great placements on offer for students willing to go the extra mile and apply through the right routes. Any students that need helping organising their placements should come to the careers room at break or lunch time.

Year 11 is the time when big decisions get made. A Levels? Vocational routes? Apprenticeships? All can lead to fantastic success for young people.
Throughout the Autumn term, students will attend careers fairs, face to face guidance sessions and open evenings and can drop in at the careers room at break or lunch to ask any questions they may have. College & Sixth Form applications will be usually completed and handed in before March with interviews following soon after. Applications for apprenticeships can start before Christmas but can continue right up until the summer exams.
