Ofsted and Reviews
Ofsted
We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection and the accompanying report card for Stopsley High School.
This inspection was conducted under Ofsted's new report card framework, which provides a more detailed evaluation of a school's work across a range of areas. We are particularly proud that Inclusion and Personal Development & Wellbeing were both recognised as being of a Strong Standard, reflecting the exceptional care, support and opportunities we provide for our pupils.
The report highlights Stopsley High School as a safe, inclusive and supportive school where pupils feel valued, respected and ready to learn. Inspectors recognised our strong culture of safeguarding, the positive relationships between staff and pupils, and the extensive pastoral support that enables young people to thrive.
We are also pleased that Attendance & Behaviour, Curriculum & Teaching, Achievement, and Leadership & Governance were all judged to be at the Expected Standard, recognising the quality of education and support provided across the school. Inspectors noted the significant improvements made in attendance, behaviour, literacy and numeracy, as well as the school's clear vision for continued improvement.
Most importantly, the report celebrates our pupils. Inspectors found that pupils feel safe, enjoy learning, take pride in being part of Stopsley High School and embody our values of Ambition, Endeavour and Success.
This outcome reflects the dedication and commitment of our pupils, staff, governors, Middlesex Learning Trust colleagues, parents and carers. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this achievement and supported the school's continued journey of improvement.
While we are proud of what has been achieved, we remain ambitious for the future and committed to ensuring every pupil at Stopsley High School receives the very best education, opportunities and support.
